What does Shimi Plast Shomal produce?

Our core product is hot-washed recycled PET flake made from used bottles. The range includes white, coloured and mixed-colour material for different industrial requirements.

Which grade is right for my production line?

That depends on the end product, target colour and characteristics, and your processing conditions. Share your application, technical requirements and expected consumption so we can review the options with you.

Is the stated capacity the actual annual output?

No. The figure of 30,200 tonnes per year is the capacity stated in the plant's operating licence, not actual annual production. The facility has four complete hot-wash lines.

Are all recycled PET flakes suitable for food packaging?

No. PET or hot-washed does not, by itself, mean suitable for food contact. The specific grade, end-use requirements and relevant approvals must be assessed separately for the intended product.

What information should I include in an enquiry?

Include the application, preferred colour or grade, target specifications, approximate quantity and required delivery schedule. These details help us assess your enquiry more accurately.
